a guy has taken on the plot behind my chicken run and tonight he has now mentioned that he would like to get 2 or 3 chickens but then said this would stop mine laying , now i know there was a post made about this ages ago but i cant find it so could he keep birds very near to mine or not i really dont need all my girls to stop laying ??

also i really dont think he would be around twice a day to look after them properly .

Is there any reason he would not be allowed to keep hens if he wants to ?

he may get premission but it would not be for a very long time as the plot as been used as a rubbish dump for at least 50 yrs or more so for him to put any animal on there would be a very dumb thing to do .  also quite a few of us on the site want him booted of as hes already caused some grieve so the council are watching him like a hawk , hes already filled 2 skips with only half the rubbish and theres at least 1 skips worth of broken glass left and i aint joking on that , this is the plot i wanted to have so i could extend the run fully so glad i never took it on .
