Broad beans, Cabages and Onions?
« on: May 07, 2009, 22:38 »
Hi

My beans are coming up now, should I be feeding them with anything, or any other little tricks to stop the bugs etc?

Same with my cabages, and onions?

Cheers

Dave

Beans are ok usually till they get bigger then if they get blackfly on the tops you just pinch the tops off.
Cabbages need to be netted against cabbage white butterflies see previous thread here

Onions are usually bug free

If you fertilised soil before sowing they shouldn't need feeding for a while yet
