[pennsylvania planters]

Does anybody know of a source of white egg laying birds in the Doncaster area?
The wife would like a couple of these chickens, being a yank, she is used to the color .
Our current supplier doesn't do them.

Hi John,  I've got 2 blue leghorns and 2 lakenvelders which both lay lovely white eggs - small but perfectly formed!!!  I bought mine from a friend of a friend in Doncaster, if I find his details out I'll let you know.

I have little White Stars - they lay quite large pure white eggs, good yolks. these are commercially reared hybrids so should be available pretty widely - try your local meadowsweet agent. They are leghorn hybrids and extremely entertaining and bright birds.

Our hatchery used to do these leghorn hybrids, but stopped doing them last year, shame as I wanted some!!!!
