I need to treat my Cuckoo Marans feet, about 20. I can't easily seperate the treated ones as I intend to do them at night and lift them of the perches. I don't like using leg rings. Is there an vegetable based dye which I can mark the backs of the treated ones with?

I've seen livestock markers at farm stores... look kind of like oversized oil pastels.  If you're looking for something natural, how about beet juice, or a washable marker like crayola?

Sounds like another use for Purple Spray. ;)
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".
