Rhode Island Red cockerel cross variations

I keep Rhode Island Reds and i would like to get some more hens to cross with Rhode Island Red cockerels.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what i type of hen i could cross to get a good table bird or a good layer?
Any suggestions would be appreciated

And the Amberlinks are the opposite cross to Richy's Goldlines!  they are LS cockerel xRIR hen!!!!!   Great layers too!!!!!

OOh I am getting 4 of these x's at the end of the month, silly me thought they might be white but I suppose the bloke genes are stronger.....!
