What breed of chick lay white egg's. The americans have them and so do i.
Or is it what you feed them as to what colour the egg's are.

no its the breed that determines the colour.

white layers are, pure dorkings, some frizzles, anconas, appenzellers, hamburghs, minorcas, POLANDS, andalusians, some asils, campines, houdans, marsh daisys, some shamos, spanish, sultans, some yokohamas.... hows that for a start

All colours of Leghorns. Most of, if not all the true bantams, Oxford Old English game.

I have two Leghorns that lay enormouse white wggs I have a white Star
cock and so hope to have some chicks from these very very soon

We are hoping to have all blue and white egg layers at the allotment eventually as people go nutty for the coloured eggs

One of my Black Rocks lays beautiful white eggs, the other two lay brown ones.  She gets the same diet as the others so I don't know why!!

One of my buff sussex lays a white egg too, the other one lays a mid brown ish coloured one.  Its great, as I can always tell who's laid what :)

Our leghorn lays white eggs. The very white layer rubs off if you find the eggs just after she's laid it.
She isn't a veryreliable layer though. Our araucana is the best...3 days on 1 day off regular as clockwork!!!! And her eggs are blue all the way through the egg shell!
