Coughing duck
« on: March 25, 2014, 13:19 »
I have a 1 3/4 year old Khaki Campbell. Recently she had big tum so I gave her a warm bath and massaged her tum and she passed a soft egg the next day. She perked up considerably. However, now she has started 'coughing'. It's much as you'd expect a duck cough to sound like - a few abrupt quacky barks and she's good for a bit. Still eating too. I wonder if she's got a cold from her bath? I know they take to water and should be used to it yet this was a warm bath and she was confined to quarters for a while afterwards. I guess she was at a low ebb being egg-bound and might've caught something yet what?

She's just yesterday finished being wormed with flubenvet.

Any ideas?
