Too much wind = horizontal pollen dispersal = poor pollination of cobs GG - being able to have control over that by growing in a greenhouse must be very helpful (if you've got the space!)  ;)
Ah - never thought of that. The winds here often blow horizontal! :wub: I only have one g'house border but, due t lack of success with tasty toms, I get far more eatable (and freez-able) produce from a small area that, if planted outside, wouldn't do for me.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
