My Sweet pepper plant is suffering attack from an unknown pest/s. :
Does anyone have an idea what maybe eating all the peppers as they grow. Also the leaves. Looks like slugs, but cannot be climbing that far up the plant I think....this pepper in photo is about 2ft high. The plant is in a pot in the side covered part of our driveway / car port. All the peppers are the same and one that got to a reasonable size was a distorted shape and then got attacked in the same way.

How do they climb 2ft up such a flimsy plant? Not doubting you, just surprised they do this.

Right I'm putting pellets down around the base of the pot and see what I find in the morning.

I've just returned from holiday and discovered something similar has been at my peppers 

Just the leaves tho! Is this slugs too?

Looks like slugs but, is there any caterpillar poo around? Could be tomato moth, that attacks peppers as well.

I got the same but I found a huge caterpillar inside a pepper.

The chickens loved it

In my poly tunnel the snails are 7ft up the plastic just looking for a leaf that might be touching it for a quick nibble!
If you ever venture to the allotment on a day when here is a fine drizzle, there are often hundreds (I exaggerate not!) of slugs and snails all over the brassicas which are 1-2ft high, some of which have slimed their way over netting - I know not how.
