I have friends living in England who are originally from the Caribbean and I would like to try and grow yuca as a surprise meal for them. Has anyone tried to grow yuca in England, and if so what were the results?

just checking - do you mean the root (also called Cassava?) rather than the fruit from the spiky plants we grow in the garden?
was discussed a few years ago...doesnt look hopeful?
