How naughty I have been!
« on: July 05, 2012, 21:47 »
I couldn't help my self, while checking on the peas I can see the pods have fattened a little.

They were no where near size ready but I busted it open anyway, I went out with the 2 kids and needless to say dad only got one pea

But it was yummy!! Bring on the peas!
New grower here - handle with care!!

I've only had 4 pods ready so far (I didn't realise how many pea plants you needed so only did a few the first time around!).  They were far tastier than I thought they could ever by, sweet!

I did the same last year, stuck some in a pot and grew up some wigwam canes, again not enough so to year is a bit more full on !

I wish some more was ready today, we have beef, with some home grown spuds and some cabbage leaves I pulled off, yum yum

Wow! I actually followed the Pea God's sowing! DD - what do you use to support them? I've lost my square netting somewhere and tried the diamond-shaped stuff - useless to get straight. Have no pea sticks tall enough and now the peas are trying to support each other horizontally - help DD!
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
