got a few small strips beside the onions to plant in, what would be best suited?
none of my seedlings are ready to go out yet so it would be for something sown direct.

got lots of lettice so dont want anymore.
only got onions and potatos in the ground so far and raised bed is still under construction!

have you got any leeks, garlic or shallots? you could also try other crops like radish and carrots - some people believe that the smell of the onion helps to deter carrot root fly, so carrots may be a good idea!

no garlic or shallots, was thinking about carrots so may well do them.
leeks are still too small to go out.
hhmm think it will either be carrots or go and get some shallots.
