But at least they're in individual pots and not seedtrays like my 140 tomato seeds!!!! :(

Eek - the exact same thing happened to me last year too. Bad luck - but at least it's all, whatever it may be, edible...unless there are some flower seedlings in there too...?

I hate wind, too. So destructive.

How many varieties got mixed up, Auntie?
It's worse when it happens to a tray of onion seedlings which fall off the windowledge onto the carpet..I know!

Oh dear Auntie. That will be interesting when they're all planted out  :D

I agree, the wind wreaks havoc in such a short time. Gardening is certainly a constant challenge!

sorry to see that Aunt. glad to read you were able to recover all of them. I had this issue. same little green house you use and it toppled over three times in the high winds 2 years ago and i lost most things. i tied the green house against the fence to stop this.

Aunt Sally,

The wind is having a real go at trying to make it difficult to grow decent crops.

Question about your succession growing. Are you growing then through the whole year or just for the main growing period but with just a few plants at a time?
Happiness is trying something new even if it doesnt work.

You could have fun trying to net them when the sprouts turn up in the middle of what you thought was your cauliflower row

I've been re-sowing chard this afternoon after a visit to the plot and discovering my seedlings had been chewed to stumps by the slugs  ::)  Pots this time and going out when big enough to cope, but had a call mid job, got distracted and have mystery chard now.  Was going to be all pretty and have colour co-ordinated rows .... oh well
