Thanks for the useful info Colin, but as DD said it is my own variety, that I was asking for advice on... I have never tried growing tomatoes outside of a greenhouse before, but I may try with my variety, I am on a pretty exposed site, but as they appear not to be as tall as your standard tomato plant, I may just get away with it... keep the suggestions coming.... thanks again
