More Tomato Advice
« on: June 06, 2010, 09:46 »
Hi I posted a message a few days ago about my tomato plants not flowering, now all the leaves are starting to curl and go brown.  This is happening with everything in the greenhouse including the courgettes and strawberries.  Has any one any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Have you got any shading as the sun can be too bright for the plants in the greenhouse,

Yes the leaves are going crispy, they are the same on all the plants.  I don't have any shade in the green house just open the door and window during the day and when it's been really warm I've watered them twice and wet the floor.

This sun is very hot at the moment with plenty of nasty rays. If I can burn (I NEVER burn) then think of the poor plants!
I've lost carrots in tubs....frazzled like crispy seaweed....tomatoes curl up all day and uncurl at nght....holding my breath for the cukes.......chickens spend all day in the shade in a hole they've dug in the earth!
It's not lack of water either...all the pots are damp...but the earth in them is really warm....
