Garden Prep.
« on: March 26, 2010, 12:44 »
I've now dug up the grass and sized up the patch that I am going to use in my garden for growing fruit and veg. I finished this morning. Am I able to plant seedlings straight away, or do I have to wait for a period of time before I do so? Also, should I add any fertilizer prior to planting?

Thanks.

you might want to add some bought compost or well rotted organic matter in to help your seedlings along. Adding some blood fish and bone before or at the time of planting also works for me.
Also I find that warming up the soil with plastic or fleece for a even a week will give them a better start!
Happy sowing!
