newbie alert!
« on: February 17, 2010, 23:14 »
hi all...

i've just joined the forum. i have to be quite honest and say i'm not really an internet person so try to avoid it most of the time :)

but as long as people here don't bite as hard as my maran captain jack sparrow i think i'll survive!

please check out my post which has been moved to swap shop and help me out if you can. i'm a teacher at a primary school and my reception class have asked if we can hatch eggs before easter. sadly the places where i got my birds from don't have anything to offer at the moment...so any ideas or suggestions would be great.

i'm situated in leicester but have family in bedford so anywhere 'close' would be brilliant!

many thanks - shetan
p.s i really need the eggs by next wednesday at the latest

You can't hatch true egg laying hybrids yourself.  The gene lines and exact crosses used are patented by the producers.

There's lot of good chook breeders here to advise you so I'll move this topic to the Hen House forum where they are more likely to see the topic.
