HI all just got my seed poatoes...rooster and also king edwards. Still new to growing thse any advice would be good. I have out them in the shed by the window in egg boxes to cht....but the soil is really wet at the mo any advice would be great

Another one of my old sayings... Out with Paddy in with Billie, the Irish will know about that one.
So wait untill St Pats day before you even think about chucking them in. Now is the time to start to prepare the land for them, get all nicely dug over for Jack to lay his magic carpet and kill the slugs and beasties for the spring. John gives you a how in the growing bit and Iain@JBA site is also good... http://www.jbaseedpotatoes.co.uk/ our local nursery buys from them.
