Hi, my courgettes have suddenly started producing fruit which are mottled.  This is particularly marked on the yellow ones which are now mottled yellow and green, but it seems to be affecting the green ones as well.  The leaves seem also to have patches of white on them, although it does not look like powdery mildew.  Any ideas what it is, what I should do about it and is it ok to continue to eat the fruit?

Can you post some pictures?

It sounds like Cucumber Mosaic Virus in which case you'd have to destroy the plants.

I'd do some research on the web though before destroying your crop.
Maybe it's something else that can be treated.

I noticed white patches on my pumpkin leaves after a heavy rain storm, no idea what it is but i am watching closely
