Planted nine raspberry canes about two months age and they are showing loads of leaves and going great at the moment, will we get fruit this year only a couple of flowers on them at the moment? I say no my wife says yes, who dares replies!!! 8)

Unless there's an "accident" a couple of flowers = a couple of fruit!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

If they are Summer Fruiting then it would be better to cut them down to 6" or so, to encourage new suckers - as they will carry next year's fruit.

If they are an Autumn fruiting variety then you will get whatever comes :) and they will produce suckers next Sprint [for next Autumn's crop]

Autumn Bliss, so should get a few in the autumn!
Glen Moy and glen ample are the varieties so maybe not on those canes as they are summer fruiting I reckon having done my googling. THanks for the answers. 8)

Autumn Bliss are pretty heavy cropers - at least mine usually are. Although I've had buds on my summer ones since late April, they've only just flowered with the hot weather. Hope yours do well in the Autumn if not the summer
