Morning Lee. How's the baby?

good evening everyone,unfortunatly i have bad news i did stay up till 3.30 this morning keeping the little fella warm and trying to give him some fluids but he died about 3.00.im now wondering if i did the right thing and maybe i should have put him out of his misery when i found him hope i havent prolonged his suffering.
Anyways thanks for all your help and sorry for the news im off to lock up the chooks

Well done, I have just spent the last three nights up with a duckling and he looked like he was improving yesterday afternoon then died last night. Because he was quiet we put a newly hatched duckling with weak legs in with him and they cuddled up. The younger one is now doing well and those couple of days built him up enough to mix him in with the nine others we have. They all had a swim in the bath then spent ages preening and I've just checked him and he is fluffing up under the heatlamp with all the others. You can only do your best. Nic.
