One of our new girls...not sure which oe has laid her first egg today...gorgeous brown colour but soooooo tiny...wonder if there is anything inside...better have plan B for tommorows breakfat I think!

I know how you feel my last two started laying on Tuesday - a small one each - then nothing until today - two tiny round eggs from one of them and nothing from the other.

The round eggs are no bigger than a table tennis ball (in fact not quite as large).

I wondering if there is anything in them - will find out tomorrow!

Yes so small hardly bigger than a cadbury mini egg...they will never be huge as from a bantam, so really cute at the moment.... especially as I am now getting used to seeing duck eggs!

If the egggs are rally tiny, you may find there is no yolk, but when some fo the Babcock's started to lay, we had sevral very tiny double yolkers, they were so funny!!!!!
