Previously grown the music hardneck variety of garlic and loved it. But the Scottish supplier doesn't stock it anymore and can't find any seed anywhere online, only in USA!

Anyone know a supplier? Or if not, recommend another hardness with a smaller number of very large well flavoured cloves like music has?

The last lot I bought from the RGC in Waitrose were Music, might be worth checking just in case they have take all their stock. Alternatively you could email them and ask if they have stopped selling it in favour of another variety. I stopped buying a few years back as the quality was declining rapidly.

I grew GARLIC ROSSA DI SULMONA from Seeds of Italy this year (sown last year!) and got on pretty well with it.

The strongest bulbs had some good sized cloves. I've just planted a number of these so hoping for all large cloves next year...

Glad you got on well with Rossa di Sulmona, Plotty.  I grow it every year now.   I also tried Red Duke this year and that gave me good results too.

I did try Music a few years back, it was OK the first year, but then didn't do very well for me.
