hi new to this have a proplem with my chickens and ducks the chickens want allow the ducks to feed when there out is there anything i can do

Jacko007 I have split your post off from the bullying one to one of your own.
Have you tried putting some of the duck feed in a bowl of water? Usually the chickens will not want to duck their heads under the water but the ducks will be fine

Agree with Joyfull. Or could put more feeders out. Ducks feed differently to hens, they need to scoop up their feed. A typical chicken feeder will not be suitable.

I have just chickens and have to put a couple of feeders apart from each other to stop the fighting, my friend that has ducks gets some plastic plant pot trays, the sort you would stand your large garden pot in to hold some water in and then adds some water and puts the food in as the ducks dibble and sift more than peck the chickens she has seem to leave the duck food alone
