I have made up a batch of nettle feed, I have strained it so I just have the liquid, does it keep when in an air tight container, or do I have to use it asap.Lillileaf

I kept some over winter till the this season, in regular 5lt drinking water bottles. It went a bit manky on top but I just shook it up and used it early season this year on my tomato and cucumber. Both are doing very well indeed up to now.

what ratio do you do?,i do 1 part feed to 10 parts water.

I don't exactly measure it, but I could say that 1 in 8 through to 1 in 10 sounds about right. On Tomato, Cucumber and Chillies , i only used it until flowering, then switched to Seaweed and also Burdock, leaf tea, which I constantly make through the summer. But in the garden and because my soil is very poor, on chard and lettuce I feed very regular with nettle tea, and again it is working quite well I think, considering how low in nutrients the garden is.
