Hi folks.  I'm fairly new to growing my own, even though Im secretary of my local allotment group.  I am still a novice and could do with some help.
I had chocolate spot on my broad beans so I took what was ready to harvest and ripped out the offending plants.  They were next to my peas which are full to over flowing with pods (not quite ready for picking though).  Yesterday while I was trimming my paths I noticed that some of the pea plants have what look like chocolate spot.  My question is - Can peas get chocolate spot and if so what can I do about it?  I really dont want to have to pull out all my pea plants if I can help it. 
Any advice would be most welcome.

In summary, the fungus that is the most common cause of chocolate spot, is unique to broad beans. There is another one that's less common that causes similar symptoms and this can affect other plants.
