 I have had 8 ex batts since July. I noticed a few days ago that one seems 'not herself' - she seems bunched up, not having her head and neck up like the others, and staying on her own - to the point that she stays by the back door while the others wander about. I have seen a couple of the others bullying her, but  she's not actually 'ganged up' on. She's let me pick her up and fuss her, but to be honest I don't know what to look for. She was compliant, with just a few crooning clucks, it seems to me that her comb has shrunk, and if pushed I would say she looks anaemic. Any ideas?

Hi - I don't know if she is laying or not. I am getting on average between 3 and 5 eggs a day, but I don't know which hen is laying. I collect the eggs when I let them out in the garden for a while before I go to work, sometimes there maybe one or two eggs when I return in the afternoon. How do I find out? (By the way she's the same today, a bit mopey)
