I use it and its very good it kills all smell without leaving behind a strong smell of disinfectant. I use it i my plastic coop and on the concrete of the run. If diluted properly it is very safe to use you can even clean the feeders etc with it. I couldnt say how long it will last ready mixed cause i only mix what i need at a time. I also wash down the part ofthe garden that the dog poop and wee  ::)

It is pretty strong stuff and I'm only familiar with it being used against biohazard, so it might be a bit of a sledgehammer approach for red mite.

I have used it for horses and if I remember correctly it does not last long once made up. I don't think it will store. This has put me off using a very good product in the past if I only had a couple of things to wash. I don't know if you could use part of the packet and re-seal well? :)

You can buy it in like a pot and just dillute what you need. In will add i dont know if it needs to be but i allow it to dry before the chooks go back in the area. Ive never had red mite (touch wood) so dont know if it will killnthem but good cleaning always prevents them so it will help in that respect.
