I have been looking for a disinfectant to clean my coop, this stuff claims to kill most nasties has anyone used it or is there anything better?

when I do a deep clean (twice a year) I use virkon S, other general cleaning I use Jeyes.

i have used that when i kept budgies its a pink powder if i remember correctly and to be honest its no better than battles black or jeyes and both of those are much cheaper .
last week i deloused my chickens and the shed and i used poultry shield {disinfectant} and diatom {lice powder ,you can also add to food to worm them} although this was a more expensive way it will give you the best results and it works out much cheaper if you buy the bigger volumes = 5L and 5kg and they would last 3/4 years. even this option would be cheaper than virkon that comes in a small pot and would not de louse your chickens.

same thing happened to me , but after reading thru the forum its quite clear that poultry shield and diatom give the best results .

I've got virkon and it does seem to do the same as jeyes. Although I think it may be less toxic to animals and poss the environment but I could be very wrong about that !

OK maybe a bit of confusion -I use Virkon S as a superior desinfectant clean the henhouses of any fungi, viruses and bacteria once or twice a year depending on the use of the shed.
For redmite/lice I use a specific product.
