I have to say I was worried about making bread and things as kids can be quite hurtfull at times .  But I have to say my 2 WONT eat plastic bread now!! at all!!  They love making things with me  especially Mary! 
And there's another thing.  Mary seems to have had about 2 weeks of being well!! (touches head very quickly)  Could it have been the bread??

There are loads of preservatives in plastic bread and some people are sensitive to them, so could be.

Matilda, I'm lactose intolerent too and if I have more than one slice of bread a day , watch out at the sewer farm! I can eat French style bread no prob but usually have pitta and naans.

I find it's the yeast in bread that I have a problem with, but I love freshly made bread so sometimes I just have to suffer
