Post op check
« on: January 16, 2010, 21:26 »
Took the little chook to the vets today for her post op check up, vet was really pleased with her progress, but she does look funny with her middle toe missing, but she is well on the road to recovery, although a little depressed as she is indoors on her own. We have put one of our other girls in with her but they started fighting so are now separated, going to sort them out tomorrow, with a partition so they can see each other but not get to each other, don't fancy another £103 vet bill!!!!!!!!!
Dont count ya chickens till they hatch!!!!!

Hi, im pleased she is making a good recovery. Perservere with the others, there will be a bit of fighting as a pecking order has to be established again as she has been seperated. A partition is a good idea :)

agree with Lizzy, the pecking order may take a couple of weeks to sort out but you will get there  :D. So pleased that she is progressing well  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.
