Woke up to fairly heavy rain this morning...at last. It's about 100 yards to our water trough so I'll be happy to get the water butt filled at least part way, it's been dry for ages.

Could have done with my waterproof trousers being a little more proof and a little less water on my rides to and from work though

I'd love to say its sunny , but its not - usual rain, rain and more rain .   I went to work and the bus just turned up as the heavens opened; by the time I got to Manchester, it had stopped, and just as I walked into the office, the heavens opened up.  It happened again this evening - it was just starting to bucket down, when the bus turned up and my hubby was at the other end to pick me up, with it still raining.

Steady rain here but not enough of it to make the ground wet. We could do with about three weeks of steady rain to be fair this side of the hills.
