Hi Paul,

Well he was indeed right in freezing them! They were super sweet and tender. I haven't seen him to thank him yet but when I do I will ask if he uses this method for anything else & post  :D

I tried the freezer trick last year and it was a complete disaster. I only had a few parsnips and I put them in the freezer overnight but when I took them out the next day they just turned to mush so I'm not going to try that again. We've had our first proper frost last night so the parsnips should be getting good to eat straight from the ground.

2 different opinions, as is usually the case with growing, I have a parsnip in the freezer so I will give it a try on Sunday and add my findings.
