If you have a feeder inside the coop do you need another one in the pen? Same for the drinker?
Thanks!

No, not IMHO mine are in the coop (shed) nothing in the run but logs and stuff. My thought is that they always have access to food and water even in the coop and less chance of vermin or wild birds getting the feed.
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

Not sure, but my large fowl will get through about 1-1.25l of water a day more on warm days.

Richyrich....       French birds must be very clever because they know exactly where the food is and just fly in when they want it! We take it away at night but its in under cover all day and that doesn't stop those wily French birds!!

  must be the fine mesh or two cats that stop 'em getting to mine then    the only one brave enough to go into the shed is the robin but then I always leave him a bit on top of the bins I have in there.
