Ducklings update

These little duckies are sooo cute. But they keep wanting to swim in a water tray :roll: Course Martha, their surrogate mummy can't understand it

Can we have a bath mum?

I cant look :shock:

So sweet, gonna be hard parting with this pair

Maybe you could dig a little pond and keep them? They're gorgeous, don't our girls make such delightful mums...oblivious to the fact that everything fluffy is not a chicken!!

They are sooooo cute!

Martha looks a very proud Mum.

If they were mine I don't think I could part with them - I don't envy you that task! :?

The only reason I am parting with them is because we acted as surrogate for my friend who has 3 female ducks and no drake but also wants loads of ducks eventually. Because I dont have a nice big pond I didnt want more ducks.so it was a nice idea to see ducklings from being hatched until they are old enough to go :? Gonna be tuff tho :roll:

But...if they go back to your friend, you'll be giving visiting rights won't you?!! Don't let her have them back till all the legal paperwork is in order!! :roll:

You'll have to ring them though or you won't recognise them!

Between us we going to have lots of swapsies Judi. Gonna have fun swapping eggies for the broodies. Her Pekin is sitting on some of my Silkie eggies at the mo

None of mine are broody so we only have the 2 chicks at the minute tho one, Mabeline (cos she looks like she is wearing eyeliner) has us a little confused as to her parentage :oops: :oops: we cant wait to see what she is like when she is grown up :roll:
