3 layed their first eggs today

was so exciting this morning, 1 large white egg, 1 small white egg and a mini tinted one.

all 3 decided to start laying on the same day, just like Christmas

wish i's taken a photo before they were swiped by a neighbour.

people nick the eggs as soon as the girls lay them. the chooks have been on holiday since autumn and everyone was used to free fresh eggs. now they know they're starting to lay again they are like gold dust.

Hey Babe, do you think the mini tinted one was Poppy or Tulip? Which one is laying white eggs? I want one (chook, not egg), was going to say that I reckon another 4 weeks when the legbars should start to lay, ooohhh how eggciting for you. shame you don't like eggs, perhaps you could bake cake, tomorrow?

Very little gives as much excitement as your first egg, but 3 on one day- superb!

it wasnt poppy or tulip, wrong tint. they are getting redder but not reddy enuff. and tulip has a proper tail now, its not fully grown, but at least she doent look bumless anymore?
