Re-potted Lavender, Rosemary and Thyme (bought this morning from Dobbies).

Made a raised bed out of old fence rails and slats.

Admired my work from the new decking, with a cup of tea!

Just waiting for delivery of wood chips to the lottie (have had some delivered of late but I wasn't quite ready for it then). Hope we have a delivery soon as then that half plot is finished.  :D  :D

Strawberry bed dug, fed, covered and planted. Chipping path between raised bed and strawberry bed. 1 ton of manure on site :) which is surprisingly little and half gone already! Have to go get some more next weekend.

I spent yesterday digging more of the badly compacted and couch infested soil on plot 37.  Four hours, two bags of plastic rubbish, four trugs of couch roots and a bad back later, Another four ft x 6 ft has been cleared  >:(

Hubby meanwhile cleared the mound of what was once a compost heap, now choked with couch.  He also got two bags of rubbish out and managed to get some sifted compost which we added to the greenhouse beds.

We spent today raising the canopy of a silver birch in the garden, and reducing the canopy of a cherry which was supposed to be dwarf root stock - but isn't!  I also turned three compost heaps and emptied one, filling bags ready to take to the plot tomorrow.

Planted the rest of the Red Baron and the Sturon onion sets.   Weeded and dug 2 other raised beds.  OH sifted some soil and piled yet more broken glass into bags for the tip.  We'll get there in the end.
