Hello

I have discovered that aphids are attacking my rose bushes mostly and one or two other shrubs.

They are all over my shrub border and I am really worried.

I have found this product at focus which I can use and it will hopefully clear them,but I have ants everywhere in the soil and I know that ants and aphids work together so will spraying with this actually do anything ?

Any information on aphids/ants in the soil or anything similar would be useful.

Soft soap would work, and not have the toxic properties of the insecticide.

Think of it a different way, the aphids and flies are not "attacking" your plants, they are just using it as a food supply.

At the moment there seem to be a lot of green and white flies every where, but the ladybirds and lacewings aren't about much yet this year.

yes, you should find that the product you gave a link to will do the job very well.
As with all chemicals, make sure you read the instructions on the back, don't apply it if it's windy, wear suitable clothing, and wash your hands well after application.

I have applied spray but not that exact one its a wilks one. But should do the job and I have put ant killer in the greenhouse as there isn't white fly in yet and I'm worried the ants will carry it in.
