IIf you lightly crush 2 garlic cloves and put them in a watering-can full of water, then leave it to stand for 24 hours, and then water it on (not if the sun is shining) and around your plants, it will prevent every-thing from your plants, bugs, cats, birds etc. You can keep the same can topped up with water for 1 week, and apply daily. great i grew loads of garlic last year so im not short of the stuff im fully loaded
