This is the next years of growth why is the leaf yellow at the bottom also does the cane look healthy thanks

Cane looks healthy.

The yellowing is likely to be a nutrient deficiency.  What have you been feeding it with?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

The leaf at the bottom is old. The cane looks very healthy.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Do you mean sequestrene?

Do you have particular reason to want to make the soil more acidic?  How often are you applying it?

I've used it once about two weeks ago also the soil is a bit alkaline

OK, then I'd keep an eye on the plant for now and consider giving it a balanced fertiliser if it continues to spread.  But, as Dave says, it's a leaf at the bottom of the plant and they do die eventually.
