That's fruit on this year's canes - next year's canes won't grow until the end of this year, beginning of next,

Autumn Bliss are different from summer fruiting raspberries.  For the summer fruiting ones you cut out the canes once fruited and tie in the new canes for the next year.

For Autumn Bliss, they fruit on the canes they make each year and you cut all the canes down over the autumn or winter, so they start from scratch again the next year.  They will produce some fruit even in their first year and despite their name, the fruit can start becoming ripe in July and August if they have had a good growing season :)

Autumn fruiting raspberries fruit in the autumn on this years growth. However, if you haven't cut down last years growth after fruiting, they may fruit in the summer (about now) on last years growth.

Anything that grew this year, should fruit this year but maybe not till September.

My Autumn raspberries haven't got any flowers yet, so don't worry - nothing is wrong.

Autumn varieties don't usually need staking, or tying in.

The clue is in the name of the variety - it's only June 30th today!  ;)

(They look absolutely fine to me.)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older
