Supporting trusses
« on: June 11, 2012, 23:14 »
With all your advice so far my plants are doing really well, the ones in the greenhouse are all over 5ft tall with plenty of small toms on.  A few of my money's makers have toms that are about 4 cm in diameter.  At some point will the ŵight pull the truss down and break?  Should I be supporting these trusses now?

You could put in some support now, ahead of the game

(I use baler twine, tied loosely around the truss stalk, and attached to the roof bars of the greenhouse)
