Growing hops

If you plant them in a bed they will completely take over, putting out suckers, suffocating other plants, growing 20 feet high and generally being VERY rampant.
The hop plant also has very tough stems and any cutting back seems to increase growth 10 fold!!!
In big pots they are more controllable and can be trained to give attractive coverage as well as producing hops.......
