Hubby said we had a good downpour last night when he came to bed, but I was zzzzzing already. ‘‘Twas dry this morning & a tad chilly, overcast & windy still. But once I got to the plot & in the tunnel to side shoot the tomatoes the sun came out & I was soon sweltered

It's a grey day, and breezy as well. 15C and we had a little rain in the early hours, the path is still damp.

More showers in today's forecast. So at least I won't have to water the plot  just the greenhouses..

Bit of a nip in the air this morning at 8c. Mainly hazy sunshine and very still, it has the feeling of a hot day but the forecast is for more low grey cloud and late rain.
