'Officially' 33.2C outside, 31.2C upstairs indoors (slightly cooler downstairs, but not by much.)

(Went to bed at 2230 last night - it was still 29C outdoors, and 31C in my bedroom.  )

A very hot & sunny day here too, just come back before midday down the M69 & my car thermometer was saying 38.5c. Patio in the shade now says 39.1c

It's now got very breezy and we've had two rumbles of thunder and then a torrential downpour.

We’ve got that as well now.  Temperature has dropped outside and odd distant rumbles of thunder.  So far we have just had steady rain, but it feels like a storm coming.  Quite dark out as well.  It has been for a couple of hours now as the cloud cover has thickened and turned from white to grey.

Steady gentle rain here for the 15mins, or so - now lightning in the distance, as well. I wondered why it was getting dark early

That's enough now. I felt decidedly unwell most of yesterday,given the temperature didn't and still hasn't dropped below 28c in the house it's no surprise.

Grey and cloudy this morning, no sign of the promised rain and it's a still as a duck pond out there. It's supposed to be 17c but feels warmer to me.

22C outside with a slight NW breeze, no rain in sight but the chance of a shower later (hope they're right.)

Temperature upstairs indoors has just dropped below 30C, having been 35C when I went to bed last night, and still 32C at 0230 when I woke up.

Grey skies, little breeze and running around 15ºC at the moment, due to rise to 17ºC. Dry. In the house it's now 22 to 24ºC as the heat percolates through the stone walls.

It's a lot cooler here at 23C, after the overnight storms. Hazy sunshine now with a stiff breeze, which is really making it feel 'fresh'
