Hi all .OH has pepper plant in greenhouse and has large amount of fruit on it .We have already had one full sized one and there is now more ready to use .When do they change from green to orange to red or am I asking too much.Maybe I am asking a stupid question as we haven,t grown peppers before.

I've one plant that has bore some fruit and it turns from green to red gradually (never orange) over a few weeks. I bought this one ready planted though, and it's my first too .

There is a delicate balance between green and ripe harvest, as when you leave fruit to ripen flowering and fruit set can drop dramatically. To get most of a plant best to leave fruits to ripen end of the season only. This will happen throughout a few weeks, as Jac says, depending on variety.
