Brown patches on parsnip leaves
« on: August 15, 2013, 15:25 »
I have a few brown patches developing on some of the leaves of my parsnips They are then going 'crispy' /dead in that brown patch. They still have a lot of healthy growth, but this seems to be a new development.
Is it anything to worry about?

Anything like the problem described in a very recent thread?

There's another very similar one on the same page as the above.

Make sure you check underneath the leaves - that's where all mine were hiding............

If it's only a few leaves affected (as it was on mine) you could just cut them off and chuck in the bin - they won't miss them assuming they're otherwise growing well.
