seedling question

hi got some seedling growing but they seem rather leggy - pic attached

is this normal

they arent in full sunlight so wonder if this is the cause.

would they be better off in my cold frame in full sun? any help would be great

They're not looking too good.

Are they brassicas ? Looks like they have been kept too warm with too little light.

First question before we can answer yours. What are they?
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Yes, too warm, not enough light.

They'd be better off started in your cold frame. Brassicas detest heat. To be honest, I'd start again.

should i just start a new batch up in the cold frame or should i just wait to sow outdoors as its soon approaching time?

I'd be inclined to go the cold frame route, you'll probably get better germination rates and you can look after them better.
