I could understand it if the ones on one or other end of the windowsill, but it's one here and there!

Surely you wouldn't expect 100% germination rate?

Perhaps overwatering has rotted them?  Dunno really and please don't beat me up, wellies, I don't work at the bank that ruined your afternoon!

if propagation temperatures are not warm enough or inconsistant this can lead to seeds rotting,look on the bright side,you didnt lose them all how many atlantic giant pies can a family stand,probably a good thing you lost a few your dad might get a bigger one now

and somtimes because of there shape n size they can crack in the packet have a close look at em
