Be interesting to see how many "I want an allotment because it's instant free food and cool yah?" people they manage to clear off the waiting lists as they pay through the nose to learn their hard lesson, instead of letting a cheap plot go to waste.

The ones I feel sorry for are those that *really* want a plot and end up paying the silly price as they're on a waiting list that's measured in lifetimes
